The beta release of Geofencing for BigBrotherMe released

The beta trial of BigBrotherMe Geofencing has been released and is currently available for use when logging in and clicking on the Geofence menu option.

Geofencing provides the ability to define areas whereby notifications can be sent when entering and leaving. Currently there is only the ability to send notifications via email although this is expected to be increased to SMS messages in the future.

Along with notifications an additional feature of not logging any data points has also been added. By selecting this action when entering a Geofence boundary you can avoid the sometimes messy look that 100's of data points at one location can provide. Instead you will get a clean single point whenever inside this boundary location.

Geofence boundaries provide an easier and more efficient method to keep track of devices without having to monitoring the system 24/7. Simply set an email notitication when you want to know when a device has entered or left an area. An email message will be sent to you informing you as the device crosses the boundary threshold.

If you have any queries about how Geofencing can help you or if you experience problems give us a call or send an email and we will be more than happy to discuss your options.

* Geofencing is only available to pre-pay and contract users.
