New send modes increases GPS tracking options

BigBrother GPS software for the TR102 and BlackBerry now supports two new GPS location modes based on Distance travelled and an OnDemand via SMS method.

Along with the these modes the TR102 firmware has been updated to include the battery saving StopConnect mode which when used can increase the battery life by upto 200% (compared with current standard interval send mode).

These three new modes are great additions to an already feature rich software package and come FREE to all users who update their software today.

During testing of these modes the Distance travelled appeared to be one of the best methods for obtaining low cost but high location points. However because of the requirement to keep the GPS module hot, this method seems to be best utilized in devices that are constantly powered or will be powered each night. Aaron Wilson, Senior partner, stated "this is a great advancement for our BigBrotherMe software and we look forward to users benefiting from these features in the future. We believe the StopConnect method will be the standard for most users however all methods will have their place depending on each requirement and how they want to use the system".

Included in the new software updates are a range of extra new features and enhancements. More can be read when updating your device via your My Account page.
