BigBrotherMe releases it's latest firmware update for the TR102 enhancing the current firmware and building on it's existing GPRS protocol.

Based on client feedback and close monitoring of device activity a number of new features and configuration options have been added to the unit. These features are all available through the website front-end.

Asked whether development for the TR102 is expected to slow down after this release, Senior partner Aaron Wilson had this to say "The TR102 is an important part of our business and we are always looking for ways to improve and evolve it's functionality. We have a number of new features in the pipeline already including a new send mode based on distance travelled rather than our core interval rate model. It's hoped this will help lower the cost to the user and so make this a much more affordable solution for all our customers."

The new firmware for the GlobalSat TR102 has been written entirely in house after attempts by BigBrotherme to use the pre-loaded software failed to provide a rich enough feature set. Attempts to work with the manufacturers in getting enhancements to the firmware forced BigBrotherMe to come up with their own solution. Based on this experience with foreign suppliers Aaron suggests they are always open to user feedback and suggestions "We value our client feedback and in fact rely on it so that we ensure we provide a solution that is satisfying the needs of our users, not just what we think they want. There is nothing worse than contacting manufacturers and feel like you are going around in circles with them and getting nowhere. We hope we offer a little bit more.".
